NURSERY AND SHOP OPEN DAYS JUNE 14-15, 2025

_

A display garden and specialty nursery
with Pacific Northwest native and rare plants,
A. Bird Farm is a botanical delight.

Just about an hour’s drive from Olympia, Washington, and a half-hour outside Puyallup, stroll through the expansive gardens surrounding a turn-of-the-century farmhouse. The display garden near the house is about one acre with both sun and shade borders, formal hedges and topiaries, and a small non-denominational chapel. The back acre is a woodland walk of native wildflowers and ferns. In between, a third acre provides a peaceful sanctuary for rescued farmed animals such as chickens, turkeys, and guinea hens.

The Farm, Nursery and Shop, and Gardens are open to the public on select dates or by appointment, as well as for afternoon teas and special events throughout the year (weather permitting). We suggest allowing about one to two hours. Admission is free (except for teas), but reservations are requested. Please visit our Hours and Reservations pages for information on open days, afternoon teas, and our festive Christkindl Markt open from mid-November through December 23.
